Our Nido program is the foundation of our schools, with classrooms hosting 4-8 children in beautiful and nature-inspired environments.
We seek enthusiastic, professional and warm-hearted teammates to join our collaborative and skilled team of teachers.
Teacher must be experienced in caring for babies and developing thoughtful & professional relationships with families.
Teacher must develop and maintain a high-quality and beautiful classroom environment.
Must be open-minded to exploring Montessori, emergent and nature-based curriculum and other constructivist philosophies in the Nido classroom.
Hours are from 8:
15am to 4:
45/5pm.

Benefits:
$38,000 - $47,000 annual salary.
(Equivalent to approx.
$21-$26 p/hour for an approx.
1,800 hour work year.
) Additional compensation applies if candidate holds a Montessori Credential from a MACTE-accredited school.
(We follow a model of pay equity & fairness, so starting salary depends on years & type of experience and educational attainment.
) Health insurance stipend up to a max.
of $600 p/ month to apply to your Covered California premium.
Retirement plan matching contribution of 3% of salary.
Approximately 7-8 weeks of paid time off during pre-determined school closures:
3 Week Summer Break, 2-3 Day Fall Break, 1 Week Thanksgiving Break, 2 Week Winter break, 1 Week Spring Break 5 Holidays:
Labor Day, Veterans Day, MLK Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day 6 Paid Sick Days & 1 Paid Personal Day
Qualifications:
Familiarity of the Montessori infant programs a plus Minimum of 2 years of experience in early childhood education 12 Early Childhood Education units, incl.
3 infant ECE credits a must, no exceptions Must be authorized to work in the United States.
? Must pass all health and safety clearances mandated by law.
These include ?criminal record clearances and health statement/TB.
COVID, MMR, TDap, flu vaccine required.
