Job Description:
This is a multi-role position basically a store clerk 85% of the time doing the following, stocking, cleaning, facing, janitorial, customer service, and attending training classes.
In between customers you'll be inputting basic invoices, updating prices, printing tags, and clerical work on the computer.
Stocking:
unloading pallets of dog and cat food up to 50lbs.
Restocking the shelves from the pallets.
This includes organizing the shelves, rotating stock, stocking cans.
Stocking cans is a tedious job, it's not hard work but its monotonous and you will have to restock and face the cans multiple times throughout the day.
If you can't deal with that, this job is not for you.
You must be able to lift 50lbs throughout the day during this job.
Customer service:
You will go through a digital training program to learn the basics about the products, and I will teach you the more complex info so you will become an expert on the products.
This also means you are here to talk to the customer, help them with what they need.

You will also be carrying items out to the customers cars.
This job requires you to be able to talk to people and connect with them to bring a rewarding experience to the store.
This is an absolute requirement so you cannot be shy or reserved and afraid to talk to customers, and coworkers.
Janitorial:
This job also includes sweeping, both dry and wet mopping, cleaning windows, cleaning up occasional pet droppings from puppies or misbehaved animals.
Dusting the shelves, maintaining the bathroom, and taking out the trash.
Educational seminars:
are held 1-2 times a month these are required and are paid.
These seminars will have the various brand trainers teaching you more about their food or product.
It's not hard work but you do have to take notes and participate in them.
Starting pay:
is $16 Pay rate increase $1 for every 45 days until 90 day probation is over.
You have to be in good standing to receive your probation pay increase IE showing up, good attitude, proactive in the work place and professional.
Once you are off probation your rate will be $18.

Complete the 3 online training courses and you get a $1 increase for each course you complete.
To get each raise you have to be an asset to the company.
You must continue showing up on time, ready to work, be able to work by yourself and learning about the various brands and following the company goals for the day, week, etc.
Once you have completed all training and passed probation, you will receive more specialized training and more responsibilities.
There is room to grow within the company and I'm looking for people that will be here for a long time.
Work ethic:
I'm looking to hire good people that want to grow with the company, my goal is to have 7 more stores by 2030 for a total of 10.
Personal skills:
you must be able to talk to talk to people.
This is not the job for you if aren't outgoing.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
