Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages - Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on preferences - Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment - Maintain a clean and organized work area - Follow health and safety guidelines for food preparation and handling - Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction - Handle cash transactions using the Square POS system - Upsell additional products when appropriate Requirements:
- Minimum one year of front-of-house food service experience - Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures - Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively - Basic math skills for retail transactions and cash handling - Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Familiarity with the Square POS system or similar point-of-sale software is a plus Barista experience preferred, but not required.
Starting at 17.
45 an hour with opportunity for pay increase and pooled tips.
