Complete Open Availability -Weekends Required Position Overview:
As a Wellness Department Clerk, you will serve in a customer service and stocking position to support the overall goals of the Wellness Department.
Essential Functions:
Build, merchandise and maintain displays Assist in achieving required sales margin, expense, and labor targets Provide excellent customer service Perform tasks to maintain the daily operations of the department Assist Wellness Manager with inventory control and overall profitability of the department All other duties assigned by Supervisors Skills &
Qualifications:
Strong product knowledge of vitamins, supplements, and body care Knowledge of current trends in natural and conventional supplements and body care Passion for whole body health and wellness Strong organizational and communication skills Basic computer skills to research product information Demonstrated merchandising skills Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers and vendors when required Ability to work well individually and as part of a team Follow and enforce all applicable State of California Health and Safety Codes Conversational English skills required when working with customers.
Bilingual proficiency preferred.
Physical requirements- While performing the duty of this job, the employee will be expected to:
Regularly walk, stand, reach, squat, push and pull.
Tolerate repetitive reaching, handling, grasping, pushing, pulling gripping and manipulation of hands and fingers in order to lift, retrieve and stock product Frequently talk or hear and reach with both hands and arms above and below the shoulder Occasionally climb, kneel, lift and carry up to 50 pounds of items and regularly up to 10 pounds Bend and twist at waist and neck Use their fingers to operate a keyboard and mouse to use the department computer Work around heavy equipment such as but not limited to:
